Sufficiency

The elf Software ‘Foundation’ module is the main core module within the <SaM> software all ‘Sufficiency’ information is held in the ‘Foundation’ module as defined by the DCSF specifications.

The sufficiency section enables you to produce a spreadsheet containing the relevant fields that can be sent to different schools to complete and then be automatically uploaded into the system.

The sufficiency data can then be automatically populated onto the DCFS primary and/or secondary sufficiency spreadsheets with room information from the foundation module, it also enables you to re-import the sheets creating or editing room information as required.

Information can also be exported to excel which enables you to produce summary pro forma’s to meet the DCFS guidelines with exportation of the relevant suitability DCFS data at the touch of a button.

Suitability

The suitability module is used to assist you in collating suitability data and submitting DCSF suitability returns, the module records suitability detail and summary information as determined by the DCFS AMP specification.

The module allows the client to obtain this information in a number of ways, therefore reducing any duplication and manual data inputting:-

1. Electronically via tablet software, with development being rolled out to handheld devices (PDA’s).
2. The school can enter the information directly through the <SaM> web access.

The module provides exportation as TAB file format, which enables you to produce summary pro forma’s to meet the DCFS guidelines and exportation of the relevant suitability DCFS data at the touch of a button.
